WWE Randy Orton

I loved when Orton joined Evolution in 2003, even though he was there to help Triple H win matches and make sure he kept his title in matches such as Elimination Chamber 2003, which included Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash. He then went on to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time by defeating Chris Benoit at Summerslam 2004 only to be kicked out of Evolution by an unhappy Triple H the following night. This created Ortons most ongoing and my most favourite rivalry or Ortons…Orton and Triple H.

Orton’s Legend Killer era was not a favourite of mine. I like the fact the era gave us the chance to see old favourites, Orton more of  heel push and the RKO but it was the same thing every week, Orton giving them an RKO and beating them down!
I did enjoy the build up of Orton and Mick Foley’s rivalry to their bloody hardcore match at Backlash 2004 though!

Another rivalry Orton had was against The Undertaker in 2005. Even though Orton did not end Undertakers streak at WrestleMania their rivalry continued, which put Orton into his first casket match and Hell in a Cell where The Undertaker beat both Orton and Bob Orton to end their rivalry.

Who can forget Rated RKO? After dominating the Raw tag team division it was not long before they became the tag team champions, which they lost to HBK and John Cena while HHH was out with an injury. With Rated RKO’s continuing to lose against HBK and Cena, becoming rivals as they both went for the WWE Championship and losing caused the team to disband. Even though both wrestlers are great single superstars it was a shame that one of WWE’s nicely paired tag team come to an end.

Cena and Orton rivalry was a heated one. After Orton kicked Shawn in the skull and put him out with a career-ending concussion Orton went on to punting many other wrestlers such as Cean’s father to prove that he deserved a rematch against Cena after losing to him at SummerSlam 2007. Orton lost his rematch but was awarded the title at No Mercy due to the title being stripped from Cena because of Cena getting injured.

After returning from a broken collarbone, Orton formed a dominating tag team with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase called Legacy. Orton went on to win Royal Rumble 2009 only to lose to Triple H at WrestleMania 25. Orton regained the title at Backlash in a six-man tag match with Legacy against Triple H, Batista, and Shane McMahon…Good team right?…This lead to another rivalry got to like…Orton and Batista.
Just like Rated RKO Legacy sadly ended when Cody cost Orton the chance of winning becoming the WWE champion at Royal Rumble 2010 from Sheamus. This lead to Cody and Ted costing Orton various matches and then eventually Orton finishing their rivalry in a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 26. After this match was the start of Orton becoming a babyface.

Orton did not become the WWE Champion again until a six-pack challenge elimination match at Night of Champions, which included John Cena, Chris Jericho, Wade Barrett, Edge, and Sheamus.
Just like past Money in the Bank winners The Miz cashes it on an injured Orton after he beat Wade Barrett on the following Raw after Survivor Series. Orton failed to recapture the championship after losing a tables match to The Miz and the TLC PPV and then in a single match at Royal Rumble 2011 after Punk interfered. At Elimination Chamber Orton failed to win at the Elimination Chamber!

What do you think of Randy Orton? and his heel to face turn?

I think it's a clear sign the fans had enough of PG characters and so naturally the cheer for the baddest guy on Raw because he defies the rules and he knows how to convey his character well. They miss Stone Cold and attitude in WWE. Thus, they cheer for Orton. So, I think it's great the fans turnEd him face. It happened naturally. Orton is still a vllainous character, except now he feuds with heels.
